# Six AI agents for Front, compared on five criteria.

Aide publishes this list, so the order follows five criteria set before any product is named, applied to what each vendor says on its own pages.

On five stated criteria, Aide meets all five, Front's own Autopilot and eesel AI meet four, and Yuma meets two. Aide, eesel AI and Yuma show their AI changing Shopify orders, while Front's Autopilot needs a Connector your team builds for that.

## The five criteria

Each is stated before any product is named and applied to what the vendor's own pages say. Where a vendor's pages didn't confirm something on November 2, 2026, it is marked "Not confirmed" and doesn't count.

1. Front teammate: a Front rule can assign the AI a conversation, and it replies to the customer itself.
2. Drafts in Front: it leaves a reply for a teammate to review inside the Front conversation.
3. Shopify actions: the AI cancels, refunds or changes an order in Shopify, without your team building the integration.
4. Published self-serve price: you can see the price and start without a sales call.
5. Front macros or templates: it uses the macros or message templates your team already keeps in Front.

Tools are ordered by criteria met, then by fewest "Not confirmed" cells. Siena AI and Ada were checked and left out: neither lists a Front integration on its own integration pages, and Ada documents a custom handoff you build through its API.

## The six, in order

### 1. Aide: best for Shopify brands that want drafts first, then replies

Aide connects to Front on every plan and writes a shared Front draft on every conversation in your shared inboxes. Each topic is set to AI Agent, Drafts or None, and once an inbox is live Aide answers its email itself. As a Front teammate (beta), a Front rule assigns it conversations, and it hands back what it shouldn't send with a summary, a draft and an assignment. For verified shoppers it cancels, refunds, changes the address or starts a return, and refunds wait for a teammate by default. More on [Aide for Front](https://aide.app/integrations/front).

### 2. Front Autopilot and Copilot: best for keeping AI with one vendor

Front's own AI comes as two add-ons. Autopilot agents take conversations through normal assignment and follow your Instructions, Knowledge, Playbooks and Tone. Each conversation is billed once at the highest level reached, and a resolution means no teammate reply for 24 hours on chat-style channels or 72 on email. Copilot drafts and summarizes for your team, included on Enterprise. Front's Shopify integration displays orders; for the AI to change one, your team configures a Connector. Front says only English is optimized.

### 3. eesel AI: best for one agent across many tools

eesel works in your Front shared inbox: assign it a conversation or @mention it, and it drafts as an internal comment or sends. With Shopify connected it can refund, cancel and update a shipping address, each set to Auto, Needs approval or Disabled. Extra credits cost $0.80. Its Front docs list past conversations and your help center as sources, and it never creates new Front tags. More in [Aide vs eesel AI](https://aide.app/compare/eesel).

### 4. Yuma: best for high-volume brands that want a managed rollout

Yuma lists Front among its helpdesks and resolves shared-inbox conversations with order context. Each new playbook goes live on 10% of matching conversations, with the rest handled as drafts your team reviews. It bills full resolutions only, priced after a demo and set up by its team. More in [Aide vs Yuma](https://aide.app/compare/yuma).

### 5. Fin: confirm Front support before you plan on it

Fin's pricing page lists Front as a supported helpdesk, sold through sales. Fin's Intercom vs Front guide, dated August 29, 2026, says direct integration with Front is not currently available, and Intercom's help center says Fin for Ecommerce requires an Intercom helpdesk plan.

### 6. Forethought: an enterprise suite, quote only

Forethought lists Front among its helpdesk integrations and sells Solve, an AI agent, and Assist, a copilot that drafts replies in your helpdesk. Its site says Forethought is now part of Zendesk. Its pages don't describe what runs inside Front.

## What 1,000 conversations a month costs

The units differ, so here is the math at list prices, before Front seats:

- Front Autopilot: $390 if all 1,000 end as handoffs, $890 if all resolve.
- Aide: counts AI replies, not conversations. One reply or draft each is 1,000 AI replies, Starter at $39. Two each is Pro at $149, which includes 4,000.
- eesel AI: 1,000 credits is $499 a month.
- Yuma: not published; priced after a demo.
- Fin: $990 if all 1,000 count as outcomes.

## How to choose

- You want AI from the same vendor as your inbox: Front Autopilot, with Copilot for drafts.
- The AI must cancel, refund or change Shopify orders from Front: Aide, eesel AI or Yuma.
- You want a draft on every conversation before any AI reply goes out: Aide.
- Your knowledge lives in Notion, Confluence or Google Drive: eesel AI or Front Autopilot.
- You want a vendor team to run the rollout: Yuma.

## Frequently asked questions

### What are the best AI agents for Front in 2026?

On five criteria checked November 2, 2026, Aide meets all five, Front Autopilot and eesel AI meet four, Yuma meets two, and Fin and Forethought confirm none on their own pages. Front Autopilot keeps everything with one vendor, eesel AI suits teams with many tools, and Aide or Yuma suit Shopify brands whose tickets are mostly order changes.

### Which AI agents can join Front as a teammate and answer customers?

Front's own Autopilot agents, Aide (in beta) and eesel AI can be assigned conversations by a Front rule and reply to them. Yuma, Fin and Forethought list Front as an integration, but their pages don't describe an assignable Front teammate.

### Which AI support tools work with Front and can use our macros?

Front's Copilot searches and edits your Front message templates, and Aide's procedures run your Front macros (assignee, archive or reopen, tags, internal comment). Aide does not read Front message templates, and eesel AI's Front docs list past conversations and your help center as its sources.

### How much does AI for Front cost?

Front Autopilot bills each conversation once, $0.05 for triage, $0.39 for a handoff and $0.89 for a resolution, and Copilot is $20 a seat a month below Enterprise. Aide bills per AI reply (150 free, then $39 a month for 1,000), eesel AI is $299 a month for 500 tickets or chats, and Yuma and Fin sell per resolution or outcome through their sales teams.

### Does Fin work with Front?

Fin's pricing page lists Front among the helpdesks Fin works with, at $0.99 per outcome through sales. Fin's own Intercom vs Front guide says direct integration with Front is not currently available, so confirm with Fin before you plan around it.

### Why is Aide first on Aide's own list?

Its own pages confirm all five criteria and no other tool's do. Its Front teammate mode is in beta, it sends replies on email only (chat and SMS inboxes get drafts), and it does not read Front message templates; if one vendor matters most, start with Front Autopilot.
