## Drafts first. Live when you say.

A new connection writes nothing to Gorgias until you choose an inbox to take live.

- Watch only to start: Every Gorgias integration appears as an inbox. Aide drafts in its own activity log and writes nothing to Gorgias.
- Drafts in the sidebar: The Aide card shows the draft, topic and orders. "Aide: insert draft" puts it in the reply box to edit.
- Live, inbox by inbox: Aide answers live chat and email from your support address, and stops once a teammate replies.

## What 1,000 tickets cost

Take a store with 1,000 Gorgias tickets a month. Say the AI fully resolves 500 of them, an assumption for the math rather than a measured rate, and writes 2 replies per conversation.

- Gorgias AI Agent: 500 automated interactions at $0.90 is $450 a month on Basic or Pro, or $500 at $1.00 on Starter.
- Aide: a draft or reply on all 1,000 tickets is 2,000 AI replies, which fits Pro at $149 a month (4,000 included).
- Your Gorgias ticket fees stay the same either way. Gorgias's billing docs apply the ticket fee to any ticket with a message sent from the helpdesk, whoever writes it.

The meters move differently. AI Agent's bill follows the tickets it resolves; Aide's follows the replies it writes, resolved or not, including drafts your team sends and handoffs.

### Do we have to leave Gorgias to use Aide?

No. Aide connects to Gorgias and works inside it. Your team keeps its helpdesk, macros, views and reports, and replies written in Aide post to Gorgias under the teammate's name.

### How is Gorgias AI Agent billed?

Per Gorgias's pricing page and billing docs, checked October 27, 2026, an automated interaction costs $1.00 on Starter, $0.90 on Basic and Pro and $0.85 on Advanced. When AI Agent resolves a ticket without handing it over, you pay that automation fee plus the helpdesk ticket fee for the same ticket.

### Can Aide and Gorgias's AI Agent run on the same account?

Yes. Per inbox, you choose whether Aide replies with AI Agent off there, AI Agent goes first and Aide drafts for your team after its handover, or Aide only drafts. An optional rule tags tickets in Aide's inboxes so AI Agent doesn't answer them too.

### Does Aide use our Gorgias macros?

Yes. Aide reads your Gorgias macros every hour and learns which ones your team sends for which situations. A macro is used in drafts once your team has sent it at least five times in the last 90 days.

### When is Gorgias AI Agent the better choice?

When you want one vendor and one bill for the helpdesk and the AI, AI answers on SMS and social inside Gorgias (Aide drafts those as internal notes for now), or Gorgias's shopping assistant for pre-purchase conversations on social. It also suits volume small enough for Starter's 30 included automated interactions.

### When is Aide not the right fit?

When you need voice or phone support. Aide reads phone tickets in Gorgias and writes their topics, but writes no reply. Order changes are Shopify only, so WooCommerce stores get answers without order actions.
