### Care and materials

Care instructions and fabric kept in metafields are part of what Aide knows about the product, so it answers instead of handing off.

### Size charts

Measurements kept as text in a metafield answer fit questions, and the variant table says which sizes are in stock.

### Products your articles name

When a help article names one of your products by its title, Aide reads that product's page too, for current sizes, stock and price.

## Every product, as a real page

Connect your store and each product shows up in Aide's knowledge the way it looks in Shopify.

- Every variant: SKU, price and stock for each colour and size, plus the product's options.
- Collections: The collections a product belongs to, alongside its images, price and availability.
- Your metafields: Materials, care, specs and size details, in a Details list on the product.
- Files as links: A metafield holding a file, such as a size chart PDF, opens in a new tab.
- Always current: Save a product in Shopify and Aide picks it up, showing when it last changed.
- Only your fields: Metafields that belong to other apps are left out of answers and the product page.

- Size charts stored only as files show as links; add the measurements as text.
- Metafields are Shopify only. On WooCommerce, Aide reads orders, products and customers.

### Can an AI chatbot read Shopify metafields?

Aide can. Product metafields sync with each product and inform Aide's answers in chat, email and helpdesk replies. Customer and order metafields show beside the conversation for your team.

### Can Aide answer size chart questions on Shopify?

Yes, from size details you keep as text in product metafields or sizing articles, together with the product's options and variants.

### Will Aide tell an unverified shopper their loyalty tier?

No. Customer and order metafields follow the same rule as orders, and reach Aide's replies only once the customer's identity is verified.

### How does Aide decide which products an article names?

The product's title has to appear as it does in your store, in any capitalisation. Aide adds at most three per reply, ignores titles under 12 characters such as Belt, and never adds a product that isn't for sale.
