Billing now projects how many AI replies you'll use by the end of the cycle, and owners and admins get an email at 80% and at 100% of the AI replies included in the plan.
How it behaves
- Projection (Settings, Billing): under the usage bar, an estimate of AI replies by the date the cycle resets, worked out from this cycle's average so far, and how far above the included amount that would be.
- Early in the cycle: the projection appears from the third day; before that the page says when it will.
- During a trial: no projection and no usage emails; trials have their own allowance.
- Reaching 80% and 100%: each owner and admin gets one email per threshold per billing cycle, saying how many replies are used and what happens next on the plan: extra replies at the plan's rate up to its cap, or Aide pausing AI replies until the cycle resets. The email links to the usage page.
- Jumping past both at once: only the 100% email is sent.
- Timing: emails go out within an hour of crossing the threshold. If an email can't be sent, it's retried the next hour.
- Plans without included replies: no usage emails.
- Email preferences: these are billing emails and are always sent, like invitations.
