Articles imported from a Gorgias help center now keep the title you gave them, without the "Updated 20 days ago" note Gorgias shows under it. And an article whose page is briefly slow or unavailable during an import is tried again instead of being left out.
How it behaves
- Gorgias help center titles: "Military Discount" is imported as "Military Discount", not "Military DiscountUpdated 20 days ago". The note is left out of the article's text too, so importing again only updates an article when its content actually changed.
- A page that doesn't load on the first try: a page that times out, can't be reached, or answers that the help center is busy or having trouble is tried up to three times, waiting a little longer each time (as long as the site asks, up to 10 seconds).
- A page that doesn't exist: a link to a page that isn't there (not found) is skipped right away, as before.
- Other help centers and websites: titles and text are imported as before.
Also in this change
- Pages an import still couldn't read are recorded for our team, so a missed article can be found and imported again.
