Choose what Aide suggests with each product

Each product page in Aide now has a "Pairs well with" section. You can see every product Aide might suggest when a shopper asks what goes with this one, add your own picks, and hide automatic suggestions you don't want, so Aide only recommends add-ons you stand behind.

How it behaves

What's listed: every paired product once, in the order Aide considers them: products you added ("Added by you"), then your Shopify Search & Discovery complementary products ("From Search & Discovery"), then what your customers often buy together ("Often bought together").
In chat: Aide suggests up to three, the first ones that are on sale, published in its knowledge and not hidden. Your own picks always come first.
Adding a product: search your catalogue from the "Add a product" picker. You can add up to 10 products per product, from the same store. A product can't be paired with itself.
Removing: products you added can be removed. Search & Discovery and "often bought together" suggestions can't be removed, only hidden.
Hiding: a hidden suggestion stays in the list, marked "Hidden", and Aide never suggests it. Show it again at any time.
Nightly updates: "often bought together" is recalculated every night from your orders. Your added products and hidden suggestions are kept; a hidden product stays hidden if it comes back.
Drafts and archived products you added stay in the list with their status so you can remove them, but Aide doesn't suggest them until they're on sale again.
Added and also automatic: a product you added that is also a Search & Discovery or "often bought together" pick shows once, as yours. Remove it and the automatic suggestion returns.

For developers

New GET /v1/products/:id/pairings: the product's pairings as product_pairing objects with source (aide_manual, search_discovery, co_purchase), hidden and a product summary (the product list item shape). Not paginated; a product has at most 10 added pairings plus its Search & Discovery and up to 5 co-purchase ones.
New POST /v1/products/:id/pairings with { "productId" } adds a pairing (201). 409 already_paired for a duplicate, 422 for an unknown product, the product itself, another store's product or more than 10.
New PATCH /v1/products/:id/pairings/:pairedId with { "hidden": true | false } hides or shows an automatic pairing; 422 for one you added.
New DELETE /v1/products/:id/pairings/:pairedId removes a pairing you added (204); 404 for automatic ones.
