Changelog

Shopify order data in reply templates

Reply templates now fill in the customer's order details from your store, so a template like "Your order {{ order.name }} shipped with {{ order.tracking.carrier }}" arrives complete.

How it behaves

  • Customer: customer.orders_count and customer.total_spent.
  • Order: order.number, order.name, order.status, order.financial_status, order.fulfillment_status, order.total, order.currency, order.created_at, order.items, order.shipping_address, and order.tracking (number, link, carrier, status, estimated delivery).
  • Which order: the order the conversation is about when Aide recorded one, otherwise the customer's latest.
  • Only for verified customers: store data fills in only when the customer's identity is verified, the same rule Aide's own replies follow. A visitor who only typed an email address doesn't see someone else's orders.
  • Amounts show like the order cards ("$89.00 USD"); {{ order.total | money: order.currency }} still works.
  • In the inbox: inserting a template in the reply box now fills these values too.
