Changelog

Aide finds answers worded differently from the question

When a customer's words don't match your pages, Aide now searches again in your pages' terms before it says it doesn't know. A visitor asking for "case studies" gets your "Customer stories" page instead of "I don't have any".

How it behaves

  • The first search finds nothing that answers: Aide thinks of one or two other ways your pages might put it ("customer stories" for "case studies", "delivery times" for "how long until it arrives") and searches again with them. If that finds the answer, Aide replies from it and cites it.
  • The second search finds nothing either: Aide replies or hands off exactly as before.
  • Questions your knowledge already answers: nothing changes, and they take no longer.
  • Where it applies: Aide's replies and drafts on every channel, and drafts your team asks Aide for in a conversation.
  • Questions about an order or an account: Aide doesn't search again for those, because the answer comes from the order or account, not from your pages.

Also in this change

  • A turn that searches again takes a few seconds longer, only on the questions that needed it.
