Clearer order cards in the conversation panel

Orders in the conversation panel are easier to scan: each one folds to a single summary row, items show product photos, and the actions you can take on an order sit right under it.

How it behaves

  • Several orders: the newest order opens; older ones show as one row with the order number, total, fulfillment and payment status and date. Click a row to open it.
  • Something needs a decision: an order with a refund waiting for approval, or whose last attempt at an action failed, opens on its own and shows the request or the store's reason at the top, with Approve and Reject for Owners and Admins.
  • Earlier actions: refunds, cancellations, address changes and notes that went through are folded under History, one line each with who asked and when. The conversation's timeline still records every action.
  • Items: each item shows its product photo, variant, quantity and line total. Items removed from the order are crossed out.
  • Cancelled orders: the original total is crossed out.
  • Order details: shipping address (with an Edit shortcut while the order hasn't shipped), amount refunded, the order note, tags and store details appear when the order has them.
  • Actions: Refund and Cancel are one click away; editing the address, removing an item and adding a note are under the menu next to them.
  • Customer emails: cancelling, refunding or removing an item now lets you choose whether the store emails the customer. It's on by default, as before.

For developers

  • GET /v1/conversations/:id/orders: each order gains tags (string array) and note (string or null), and each item gains imageUrl (the variant's image, else the product's first image, else null).
