When a shopper checks out with a cart they filled in an Aide chat, the order now shows a "Bought after this chat" badge in that conversation's Orders panel. You can see straight away that the conversation led to a sale, without opening Analytics.
How it behaves
- Where to find it: in the inbox, open a conversation. In the Orders section on the right, an order placed with the cart from this conversation shows a "Bought after this chat" badge next to its order number. Hover the badge for a short explanation.
- What counts: the same orders as "Sales from Aide chats" in Analytics: placed within 30 days of the chat, from a cart the shopper filled using Aide's product cards.
- Shoppers Aide didn't recognise: the order is listed in the conversation even when the shopper wasn't matched to a store customer, for example a guest who checked out with a different email.
- Other orders: the shopper's other orders are listed as before, without the badge.
- Acting on the order: refunds, cancellations, address changes and notes work on these orders like on any other order in the panel.
- In the chat itself: Aide doesn't use these orders when it answers the shopper. It still only discusses orders of a shopper it has verified.
For developers
GET /v1/conversations/:id/orders: each order gainsattributedToConversation(boolean), true when the order was placed with the cart from this conversation. Such orders are now included in the list even when no store customer matches the conversation.- The order action routes under
