You can now connect a Shopify store straight from the Aide dashboard by entering its address. The store joins the workspace you are signed in to, instead of a trip through the Shopify App Store that could set up a separate workspace.
How it behaves
- Connecting: on the Shopify integration page, enter your store and select Connect. Shopify asks you to approve access, then sends you back to Aide with the store connected.
- What to enter: the store name (
your-store), its myshopify.com address (your-store.myshopify.com), a link copied from the store that uses that address, or a link copied from your Shopify admin (admin.shopify.com/store/your-store/...). Aide works out the address for you. - Custom domains: addresses like
yourstore.comaren't accepted. The page asks for the myshopify.com address, which you can find in Shopify under Settings, then Domains. - "Connect Shopify" on Home and other pages: the button now opens the Shopify integration page in Aide rather than the Shopify App Store.
- More than one store: once a store is connected, the same page lets you add another one, as before.
