Short answer
Siena meets all five criteria for DTC appliance and hardware brands, and Aide and Yuma meet four, Aide because it hands warranty claims to your team and Yuma because it doesn't publish a price. Gorgias AI Agent and Fin meet three each.- Tools judged
- Siena, Aide, Yuma, Gorgias AI Agent, Fin.
- Criteria
- Fulfillment-window changes, warranty claims, damage photos, helpdesk fit, published price.
- Ranking rule
- Criteria met, then lowest published price to start using the AI.
- Date checked
- November 3, 2026, against each vendor's pricing, docs and product pages.
- Publisher
- Aide writes this page and is one of the five.
The criteria
Five jobs decide whether an AI agent helps an appliance or hardware brand. A tool meets a criterion only when its own pages said so on November 3, 2026; anything else reads "Not confirmed" and scores nothing.
- Window changes: the AI cancels orders and changes addresses in Shopify, and can be held to orders that haven't reached fulfillment.
- Warranty claims: the AI checks the claim and processes it itself, not only answers questions about coverage.
- Damage photos: the AI reads photos customers send of a damaged product.
- Helpdesk fit: it runs inside at least two of Zendesk, Gorgias and Front, so you keep your current helpdesk.
- Published price: the pricing unit and rate appear on the vendor's own pricing page.
Ties are broken by the lowest published price to start using the AI.

The ranking
1. Siena: the full set, at a platform price
Siena cancels Shopify orders that haven't shipped, changes addresses and sends replacements for damaged items. It reads photos and, since January 2026, video, and says it verifies and processes warranty claims from them. It connects to ShipBob and ShipMonk for fulfillment checks, and works inside Zendesk, Gorgias, Intercom, Kustomer, Gladly and Dixa. The published rate is $750 a month plus $0.90 per automated ticket. More in Aide vs Siena.
2. Aide: order changes on a clock, with your team on warranty
Aide cancels orders and changes addresses for verified shoppers, and a procedure can keep address changes to orders created within the hours you choose, then tag the Shopify order for fulfillment apps that skip tagged orders. It answers warranty and setup questions from your articles, collects the serial number before handing a claim over, and reads up to four recent photos without judging the cause. A teammate can send a free replacement from the order. It does not handle phone calls. Bartesian's story is on the appliances and hardware page.
3. Yuma: claims and window changes, priced after a demo
Yuma edits shipping addresses before fulfillment, handles cancellations, and connects to ShipStation, ShipBob and ShipMonk. Its FAQ says it spots a defect in a customer's photo and processes the warranty claim, and it reads video and PDFs too. It runs inside Gorgias, Zendesk, Front and others, and also offers a voice agent. Pricing is per fully resolved ticket, set after a demo, with a 30-day trial. More in Aide vs Yuma.
4. Gorgias AI Agent: strong on order changes, inside Gorgias
Gorgias's docs suggest an order date condition, such as less than 2 hours ago, so the agent cancels or edits an order only before your 3PL takes it. Vision reads damage photos in email and chat, and the reship action sends a free duplicate order for damaged or lost parcels. We found no page on processing warranty claims. It runs only in Gorgias, and each automated interaction also counts as a helpdesk ticket. More in Aide vs Gorgias AI Agent.
5. Fin: photos and outcomes, order changes unconfirmed
Fin Vision reads photos in chat and email at no extra cost, and Fin works with Front, Gorgias, Salesforce, HubSpot and other helpdesks. Its Shopify connector reads orders and allows writes where the tool permits, but it is limited to US-hosted Intercom workspaces, and we couldn't confirm cancellations or address changes. Fin bills $0.99 per outcome, with a 50-outcome monthly minimum on other helpdesks, and offers voice on custom pricing. More in Aide vs Fin.
The math at 500 automated conversations a month
Units differ, so here is one month worked through at published rates, before helpdesk plans.
- Siena: $750 + 500 × $0.90 = $1,200.
- Gorgias AI Agent: 500 × $0.90 = $450 on an annual plan, plus the Gorgias plan the interactions are billed as tickets on.
- Fin: 500 × $0.99 = $495.
- Yuma: not published.
- Aide: if each conversation has three customer messages, that is 1,500 AI replies. On Starter that comes to $39 + 500 × $0.15 = $114; Pro is $149 with 4,000 included. Aide also counts conversations it hands to your team, which the outcome-priced tools don't bill.
Which to shortlist
- Warranty claims should close without a person: Siena or Yuma.
- You want the AI to change orders but keep warranty decisions with your team: Aide.
- Your warranty line is a phone number: Yuma or Fin, since Aide doesn't take calls.
- You run Gorgias and want one vendor: Gorgias AI Agent, or Aide inside Gorgias.
- You're on Intercom already: Fin.
